CBDOO: cheap CBD flowers and resins for everyone!

CBD-based products and their hemp derivatives are governed by a number of regulations. They are authorized by law if they comply with articles L. 5132-86 and R.5132-86 II of the French Public Health Code (CSP):

 
● Products must contain no more than 0.2% THC
● Products containing CBD must be derived from plant varieties listed in the shared catalog of agricultural plant varieties or in the official catalog of species and varieties cultivated in France.
● The cultivation of hemp flowers and leaves in France is exclusively reserved for farmers who comply with European and French regulations.

Different regulations then apply depending on the use of the products, whether for food, inhalation or cosmetics (3).

CBD (Cannabidiol) is a cannabinoid naturally synthesized by hemp plants (Cannabis Sativa L.), particularly in the flowers where the trichomes are concentrated.

The reason? It's not the CBD itself that poses a problem, butthe combustion of hemp, which generates toxic substances: tars, carbon monoxide, fine particles... that can seriously damage the lungs.

In practice, if you're tempted to smoke CBD like cannabis, you should know that it's forbidden.

And although it's not a criminal offence, it can get you into trouble when you're stopped, especially if the police interpret it as drug use.

The CBD market in France is evolving rapidly. New molecules derived from hemp are appearing regularly: THM, CBDP, 10-OH-HHC, HHC, HHCPO, H4CBD, THCP, THCV, THCJD, H3CBN, THCPO, etc.

In France, CBD is classified as a dietary supplement. In this field, a molecule cannot be automatically banned if it is not derived from a molecule already classified as a narcotic. It can therefore be marketed legally, until the ANSM (Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament) issues an opinion. If a risk is proven, the molecule is banned. This is what happened to: HHC, HHCPO, H4CBD, THCP, THCV, THCJD, H3CBN, THCPO and all derivatives banned in June 2024.

It's a question often asked by people who use or want to use CBD: can you drive on CBD?

The answer is that it's clearly better not to. Because while the question is legitimate, and on paper CBD and its consumption are legal, since it alters neither your reflexes nor your alertness, there's a difference between theory and practice.

Even if CBD products respect the legal limit and contain less than 0.2% THC, this mini-total can be enough to show up in a positive saliva test.

Among the treatments with which it is generally inadvisable to consume CBD are:

● Treatments for liver failure or liver disease, such as Heptral, Delursan or Ribavirin

● Epilepsy treatments, such as Urbanyl or Depakine

● Immunosuppressive treatments such as Neoral, Sandimmun or Cellcept

● Anticoagulants, such as Coumadin or Eliquis

You should also be aware that concentrated forms, such as 40% oils, CBD concentrates or moonrocks, which contain high levels of CBD, are more likely to cause drug interactions, particularly in the case of high doses or regular use.
