H3CBN is a semi-synthetic molecule naturally present in cannabis flowers. In simple terms, it's a CBN molecule with three hydrogen atoms added. Like THCP and THCV , it's naturally secreted, but in quantities too small to produce a significant effect. Therefore, the H3CBN in our flowers and resins is synthesized in the laboratory.
Hydrogenating CBN radically changes its effects. As you may know, CBN is produced by the oxidation of THC. This molecule is found in aged or sun-dried cannabis flowers. It is known for its relatively mild sedative effects, similar to CBD.
Its hydrogenated form is not at all the same, like hhcpo, it was developed to replace HHC, it has psychoactive and psychotropic effects.
