CBDP: What is it?
CBDP, or cannabidiol, is a minor cannabinoid naturally present in hemp and cannabis. It is a very close relative of CBD, somewhat like THCP is to THC.
Like CBD, CBDP differs from CBD in that it has a longer side chain. This difference naturally results in a different impact on the endocannabinoid system and on the sensations associated with consumption.
CBD VS CBDP: the effects
With its longer side chain, CBDP is capable of stronger interactions with the endocannabinoid system. The effects appear to be roughly equivalent:
- No psychotropic effects or euphoria
- Anti-oxidant potential
- Antianxiety and antidepressant properties
- A change in appetite
The two molecules share many characteristics. In fact, it seems the difference between them lies in their potency. Indeed, according to consumer feedback, CBDP has the same effects as CBD, but with ten times the potency.
Furthermore, some preliminary studies have shown that CBDP is capable of a much more pronounced entourage effect than CBD. This translates to even greater potency in the presence of other cannabinoids.
CBDP + CBN
Given that CBDP has a marked entourage effect, it is interesting to combine it with another cannabinoid in order to obtain a powerful product with certain soothing effects.

What is CBDNO
CBN-O stands for cannabinol-O acetate, the acetylated version of CBN. It's a bit like THCPO compared to THCP. It's a synthetic cannabinoid, created in the laboratory by adding an acetyl group to the CBN molecule.
This chemical manipulation radically changes the molecule's action. Unlike CBN, CBNO appears to produce a powerful psychotropic effect characterized by a mild and short-lived high.
Some also claim that it has greater relaxing powers than CBN, making it more likely to promote muscular and mental relaxation and sleep.
CBDP + CBN: a tenfold effect
The combination of CBDP and CBN seems more than promising. On one hand, we have a more potent CBD that is capable of increasing the potency of other cannabinoids, and on the other, a powerful synthetic cannabinoid capable of producing psychoactive effects.

Legal and dangerous
CBDP, like CBN, is legal in France and Europe. Both molecules are not affected by the ban of June 3, 2024, and contain less than 0.3% THC, as certified by a professional and independent laboratory. Regarding the potential hazards of the two molecules, it is still too early to be certain of any harmful or beneficial effects. Therefore, they must be used with caution.
