THM: Discover The Hot Mix, the new hit from Entourage
Disappointed by the ban on HHCO and THCP derivatives? Dry your tears, because in the meantime, our understanding of natural cannabinoids has greatly advanced. Enough to offer you a legal, natural, and above all, potent alternative : THM, short for The Hot Mix.
Are you perking up your ears? Are you interested? Then let's continue!
What is HRT?
THM is a name exclusive to CBDOO. It is a new type of product developed by one of our most competent suppliers.
This is a carefully selected and dosed blend of CBD, minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids to guarantee potent effects. The THM induces intense relaxation and a gentle feeling of euphoria, all thanks to natural and legal compounds.
No false promises, no mystery ingredients, only precise dosages of CBD, CBDP, CBN, CBG and CBC specially formulated to correlate with the specific terpenes and flavonoids naturally present in the flowers, creating a powerful entourage effect.

The entourage effect: myth or reality? Explanation
The entourage effect has long been a hypothesis intended to explain the variation in the effects of cannabinoids from one plant to another. Indeed, when consuming hemp or CBD, the levels may be the same from one variety to another, while the effects are felt differently. In the 1990s, this theory was developed, attributing this behavior to the synergy that occurs between cannabinoids, terpenes , and flavonoids.
If you are not familiar with these terms, here is a brief definition:
Cannabinoid:
Chemical compounds present in hemp and cannabis that interact with the endocannabinoid system, CBD, THC, CBG…
Terpenes:
Organic compounds produced by numerous plants—more than 200 have been identified among the different varieties of hemp—are responsible, among other things, for the taste and smell of the flowers and resins. Among the most common are: terpinolene, beta-caryophyllene, humulene, alpha-pinene, and beta-pinene.
Flavonoids:
These are also organic compounds found in a large number of plants. They are a type of pigment responsible for the color of flowers and fruits. For example, it is thanks to anthocyanins that varieties of the 'Purple' family have their distinctive violet color.
What is interesting is that Terpenes and Flavonoids can also possess effects similar to cannabinoids, which intensifies their effects.
The entourage effect, finally proven?
For a long time, this entourage effect remained an unverified hypothesis. But as you know, the gradual decriminalization of cannabis worldwide has allowed a growing number of researchers to take an interest in the plant, attempting to unravel the many mysteries that have accumulated over time.
Back in 2011, Ethan Russo of the Pharmaceutical Institute in Salisbury, UK, listed the relatively long list of our knowledge about cannabinoids, flavonoids and terpenes, their interactions already recorded and the practical cases in which they have been observed and can be used.
He concluded:
“The selective breeding of terpenoid- and phytocannabinoid-specific chemotypes has thus become a rational target that could lead to new approaches to discheckouts such as treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, substance abuse, etc. […] A better future through cannabis phytochemistry may be an achievable goal thanks to further research on the entourage effect in this versatile plant, which can help it fulfill its promise as a pharmacological treasure. ”
This appeal did not go unanswered. In 2020, a group of Israeli researchers embarked on a study entitled "The Entourage Effect: Terpenes Combined with Cannabinoids for the Treatment of Mood Discheckouts and Anxiety Discheckouts.".
According to them, " Synergistic interactions can be found between different cannabinoids and between cannabinoids and terpenes." And although "Further research is needed to investigate the potential therapeutic value of adding terpenes to CBD treatment, with or without added THC, for the benefit of patients suffering from depression, anxiety, or bipolar discheckout," "The use of various cannabis-derived compounds opens the way to the possibility of avoiding the adverse effects of available antidepressants and mood stabilizers while treating mood discheckouts."
Finally, more recently, an Australian study conducted by Dr. Lyndsey Anderson for the Lembert Initiative in Australia investigated blood CBDA levels after the ingestion of CBD alone and broad-spectrum CBD. This experiment demonstrated that broad-spectrum CBD produced up to 16 times higher CBDA levels than CBD alone.
In view of recent discoveries, it therefore seems permissible to doubt the veracity of the entourage effect and its definite impact on the effects of cannabinoids.
Is HRT legal?
Unlike many other CBD products, THM's availability is not subject to uncertainty. THM is composed of known, studied, and safe cannabinoids. It is free from habit-forming and addictive effects. Furthermore, it contains less than 0.3% THC, in accordance with current French and European regulations.

In other words, HRT is completely legal and will remain so!
Conclusion
THM testifies to the extent of recent advances in the world of CBD. The more knowledge develops on the subject, the more researchers are able to appreciate the vast scope of what remains to be discovered, as well as the potential medical benefits hidden behind each discovery.
The entourage effect is no longer just a theory. By better understanding these mechanisms and repercussions, some researchers foresee the possibility of replacing certain treatments with serious side effects or of treating patients who are usually resistant to chemical treatments.
For the consumer, this also represents a much greater benefit compared to the CBD molecule alone.
