CBD flowers: cultivation methods
In CBD cultivation, as in any cultivation, there are different ways of doing things, different fertilizers, different mulches... Our master growers each have their own techniques and ways of doing things. They fine-tune their art according to their soil and the varieties they grow.
The only thing that stays the same with us is the use of 100% natural and organic means to grow each CBD variety.
Outdoor culture
People have been growing hemp since the dawn of time, with outdoor cultivation being the most common method. This method is also the most economical and ecological. When grown outdoors, the flowers are subject to the vagaries of the climate, giving them their raw character and assertive aromas. The only drawback is that they tend to be less homogeneous, perfect and dapper than flowers grown indoors.
Indoor cultivation
Unlike outoor cultivation, indoor cultivation preserves plants from outdoor conditions. It also allows ideal control of all the variables involved in the growth of each CBD plant (light, humidity, soil composition, nutrients, etc.). As a result, the THC and CBD levels and all the other characteristics of each flower are entirely under control. This method of cultivation is more expensive, but produces very high quality flowers.
Indoor cultivation makes it possible to grow
CBD varieties in hydroponics. A true Holy Grail of CBD, they are particularly appreciated for their strength and stronger-than-ever flavour.
Greenhouse culture:
Halfway between indoor and outdoor: Greenhouse cultivation. Plants grow in greenhouses. They benefit from natural soil and light, while being protected from climatic conditions and external aggression. Greenhouse cultivation is more environmentally friendly and less expensive than indoor cultivation. The result is good-quality flowers, with pretty buds and strong, full-bodied aromas.
CBDOO quality above all else
We make our own selection of the products you'll find in the catalog. For each variety selected, our teams screen an average of twenty batches. Several enthusiasts rigorously test each batch and give them scores for :

At the end of these tests, each batch is given an overall score, and we discuss which nuggets will take their place in our catalog.
Legality and CBD
As far as CBD is concerned, French and European legislation is constantly evolving. What is certain is that in France, as in Europe, the transport, possession and consumption of flowers, resins and other products containing less than 0.3% THC are authorized.
In order to meet this requirement, all our products are analyzed by an independent laboratory, which certifies that the THC content complies with legislation and enables each batch to be traced.
Is it safe to consume CBD flowers?
On the face of it, yes. CBD has been
legalized in France because the risk really does seem minimal. In any case, when we consult the Decree of December 30, 2021 implementing Article R. 5132-86 of the French Public Health Code, the main danger associated with the consumption of CBD flowers comes from drug interactions. As an active substance, CBD can interact with a drug to impair its action or produce unpredictable effects. That's why, if you're undergoing treatment, you should talk to your doctor before taking CBD.
