Appearance, flavor and aroma of Super Silver Haze

Super Super Silver Haze is an iconic strain from the large Haze family. It is distinguished by its medium-sized but very compact buds. These flowers display a beautiful green color tending towards lemon, covered with a thick layer of pollen.

On tasting, you'll first notice a lemony note accompanied by subtle herbaceous touches. This is all enhanced by spicy and earthy nuances, as well as a touch of sweetness on the finish. With its typical Haze aroma, both lemony and peppery, Super Super Silver Haze is the perfect choice for lovers of old-school flavors, reminiscent of the 90s and 2000s.

Effects of Super Silver Haze

As a pure sativa with 25% CBD, Super Silver Haze offers potent and balanced effects. Its high cannabidiol content provides potential relaxing effects, capable ofeasing stress and anxiety, while promoting physical and mental relaxation. On the other hand, its sativa genetics contribute stimulating effects, with mild euphoria and a sense of mental clarity.

Together, these effects could prove beneficial against mild stress and anxiety, bringing good mood, calm, and inner peace. It's also an ideal strain for enjoying a relaxing moment, alone or with friends, while watching a series, playing video games, or pursuing hobbies.

How was Super Silver Haze designed?

This Haze is one of the iconic strains of the 90s. It was created by the famous Neville Schoenmakers, founder of the first commercial cannabis seed bank, Seed Bank of Holland. A great Haze enthusiast, who also created the legendary Neville's Haze, Neville partnered with Scott Blakey, aka Shantibaba, the father of the famous White Widow.

Their goal was to improve the Haze, renowned for its taste and potency, but also known for its difficult cultivation and low yield. They therefore crossed it with two more productive varieties: Skunk #1 and Northern Light.

The result? An exceptional Haze, covered in silver trichomes, hence its name Super Silver Haze. A resounding success, it won the award for best sativa at the High Times Cannabis Cup three years in a row, from 1997 to 1999. It also gave rise to other legendary varieties, such as Lemon haze, Super Lemon Haze , and the famous Amnesia Haze.
